As part of our efforts to create an environment where visitors can fully enjoy our visual and experiential contents as well as prevention measures against COVID-19, Fukuyama Castle Museum implements the following admission procedures for the time being.

1. Admission by pre-booking
Please make a booking (up to 40 people per 30 minutes) at the pre-booking site at the bottom of this page before visiting the museum.
  • Please note that we will not be able to accept groups from Sunday, August 28, to Saturday, October 1, in order to reduce congestion after the reopening.
2. Admission by receiving an admission ticket distributed on the day
There will be a quota of 10 admissions per 30 minutes on the day, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., when admission is available. Admission tickets will be distributed at the reception desk from 8:50 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • For those times when the number of pre-bookings is below capacity, admission tickets will be distributed by adding this difference to the admission quota for the day.
  • Admission procedures are subject to change depending on the infection status of COVID-19.

Admission for Saturday, October 1, 2022

Admission will be limited due to related events.

1. Available hours for pre-booking will be limited.
  ①Saturday, October 1: Pre-booking will be available for admission after 10:00 a.m.

2. Admission tickets will not be distributed on the day.
 To reduce congestion due to related events, admission tickets will not be distributed on the day, and pre-bookings will be required of all visitors.

3. We will not be able to accept groups of visitors.

Pre-booking procedures

1. For individual visitors (1-19 people)
  1. If you wish to visit the museum, please complete pre-booking at the following pre-booking site in advance.
    • Pre-booking is available 50 days prior to the desired date of visit. However, due to an event scheduled on Saturday, October 1, 2022, available hours for pre-booking will be limited for the day.
    • Pre-bookings and cancellations can be made on the website until 3:00 p.m. on the day before your scheduled visit. If you wish to cancel after that time, please call us.
  2. On the day of your visit, please arrive at the time booked in advance. Please present the “booking confirmation e-mail” or the printed e-mail message to the staff on-site. After confirmation of your booking, please purchase an admission ticket before entering the museum.
2.For groups of visitors (20 or more people)
Please note that we will not be able to accept groups from Sunday, August 28 to Saturday, October 1 in order to reduce congestion after the reopening.
  1. If you wish to visit the museum as a group (20 or more people), please be sure to call us in advance.
    Please provide us with information such as the name of the group, desired date of visit, number of visitors, and mode of transportation upon inquiry. We will check the booking status and let you know if we will be able to accept your visit.
    • Pre-booking is available 6 months prior to the desired date of visit.
      However, due to an event scheduled on Saturday, October 1, 2022, we will not be able to accept groups of visitors for the day.
    • If you wish to cancel your booking, please call us.
  2. On the day of your visit, please arrive at the time booked in advance. Staff on-site will confirm your booking..

Please note that pre-booking is required even if you have a “Fukuyama Castle Museum Invitation Ticket” for riding the West Express Ginga or participating in the Fukuyama Castle Town Walking Quiz Rally.

How to use the pre-booking site

Please click on the date and time you wish to visit the museum at the pre-booking site below.
The maximum number available for pre-booking is 40 people per 30 minutes between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. 15 admission slots are available per day.
Pre-booking is available 50 days prior to the desired date of visit.
  • Bookings can be made for up to 19 people (please call for bookings for more than 20 people).
  • n the event where bookings are made for a group of 20 or more people, Fukuyama Castle Museum will cancel such bookings. Please note that Fukuyama Castle Museum will not be held responsible for any damages that may occur as a result of this cancellation.
  • The maximum number of visitors and admission quota may be subject to change depending on events and extended opening hours.

Enter “the number of planned visitors” and click the “book” button.
  • The number of planned visitors should be the total number of people including your companion (e.g. high school student or younger with free admission).
  • Please note that if you do not include your companion in the booking, he/she will not be allowed to enter the museum.
  • If you are planning to visit the museum in a group of 20 or more, you are eligible for a group discount. Please call the museum to inquire about bookings.

Please check the information you have entered and cautionary notes, etc. before completing the booking.

You will receive a “booking confirmation e-mail” from the pre-booking site to the e-mail address you entered, containing booking details, “booking number,” and “authentication key”. Please keep it safe as it is required for confirmation at the time of admission as well as for pre-booking confirmation and cancellations.

Cancellations
If you become unable to visit for any reason, please be sure to cancel your booking.

How to cancel your booking
  1. Access the URL of the “booking confirmation page” indicated in the “booking confirmation e-mail” that you will receive upon completion of the booking.
  2. Click the “cancel your booking” button at the bottom of the “booking confirmation page”.
  3. The booking cancellation confirmation page will be displayed. To complete your cancellation, click the “complete your cancellation process” button.
  4. You will receive a “booking cancellation confirmation” e-mail for confirmation.
