Fukuyama Castle, built in 1622 (the eighth year of Genna) as the base of the Western Province, has a five-tiered castle keep, numerous yagura turrets, and castle gates in the center of the castle and outer citadel. Here are some of the highlights of the castle.

The exhibits of Fukuyama Castle Museum, which underwent its first major renovation after reconstruction, as well as the successive daimyos of Fukuyama Castle, are introduced.
